This is especially helpful with “slick” surfaced, plastic media such as bio-balls, Kaldness and bead media. Special buffers stabilize the sodium thiosulfate, which is naturally unstable in solution & gradually becomes acidic in other dechlorinators. Our unique solution eliminates any decomposition.
