Review:
The Ponder's Bible. The first thing you need for your pond is a plan. I've been threatening to write a pond book, but haven't had the time. Now I've found out that I don't need to. Gosta Lovgren's done it, and come up with all the DIY tricks I would have, plus a few more, to cut money and problems out of the job, and still have a beautiful pond.
One of the things I most enjoy about my pond is expanding it. Adding a waterfall here, a different plant, or stone, or filtration system, etc. A pond isn't static, like an aquarium with fixed, glass walls. It can become an ongoing piece of artwork. Mr. Lovgren has a lot to offer the 'ponder' that already has a pond. Includes useable instructions for a successful lavarock filter. (The kits sold in hardware stores seem prone to green water. We've worked on both. Mr. Lovgren's design is prone to clear water.)
