The safe and easy way to balance pH. Unlike competitive products that use phosphate buffers, Fritz pH Lower will not cause cloudy water or contribute to bacteria blooms. Did you know that for every 0.1 increase in pH above 7.0, ammonia toxicity increases tenfold? It’s true; fish are much more effected by ammonia and nitrites at higher pH levels. For best results, test water weekly using a Fritz pH Test Kit. If pH is 7.3 or higher, add two capfuls per 50 gallons of pond water. Wait 20 minutes; retest. Re-treat until pH is at the ideal level. Never drop pH more than 0.2 units per 12 hours if fish are present. Hard water (normally untreatable with similar products) may require several dosages
