Always turn off UV Sterilizer for one week after introducing bacteria. In new ponds, Pond Turbo Start™ can be added the same day
as the initial batch of fish. Within one week, ammonia and nitrite can both be completely eliminated. Safe for pond fish, plants and wildlife.
Each batch of Pond Turbo Start™ is individually tested to guarantee quality. Pond Turbo Start™ remains fully viable for 3 months in a
refrigerator; must be kept refrigerated at all times. Available in 16 oz, 32 oz, and 1 gallon sizes.
- Disconnect sterilizing systems (UV, Ozone, Chemical Disinfectant Sterilizers, Protein Skimmers,
Foam Separators, Sub-Micron Mechanical Filters of 5 micron or less ) prior to introduction of bacteria.
- Antibiotics and ich medicines should be filtered out thru fresh carbon before introducing Turbo.
- Pond must contain ammonia or fish waste on introduction.
- Pond must have aeration via pumps, waterfalls or fountains. Bacteria increase Biological Oxygen
Demand, and could starve fish of oxygen. If oxygen levels are below 7 ppm, add a strong air pump and several air
stones prior to bacteria introduction. If you aren't sure, add the air pump and stones. A filter box or filter
of some type should be present, so that the bacteria have an attachment site with adequate oxygenated waterflow.
- Concentrated biological conditioner. Fresh, concentrated nitrosomonas and nitrobacter bacteria.
